Take your yoga to the next level on this playful, challenging and deeply restorative yoga retreat. When we struggle, feel stuck, frustrated or blocked, all we want is the courage to get moving again. The activities and stressful situations of our everyday lives can often lead to tightness and discomfort in our body. We often feel discontent, and it is okay to feel so. No one is ever going to feel content with their life 100% of the time. What’s important is to develop the inner tools to get yourself un-stuck whenever you need to. Rebekka will focus on releasing this tension that makes you feel like you have reached a dead end, something which is crucial for your overall health. Once you give your mind, body, and soul the attention they deserve, you’ll feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and more content with your life. In this deep yoga retreat, you will learn to step out of the unconscious need to jam your body and instead find a sensible, sensitive and compassionate approach to open not only in postures but also in your mind and emotions. When we go with the flow, move with fluidity and are able to adjust our direction easily, the quality of contentment lies within our hearts. Flow through your practice next to the sea, breathe in the fresh island air and get energized by heart-opening postures. With a mindful approach to heart opening, we can release stress and negative emotional memories, which may be stored in the body on an energetic level.

You will be accommodated at Kouros Village which is an ideal setting to connect with nature and yourself. Kouros Village is located in a quiet neighborhood at the end of Antiparos port just a few meters from the sea. It is built in traditional Cycladic architecture surrounding the pool and the herb garden. You can enjoy the ever changing view of the port while you relax by the swimming pool or in the shade of the restaurant area. There are different options for shared or private accommodation depending on your needs. If you wish to stay longer than the days that the retreat is taking place, contact us so that we can make you a special offer.
Your host at the hotel is Iliada. Iliada has been practicing yoga for the last 2 years and has noticed a big change in her body and soul. She thought, what can be better that bringing this experience next to the sea and share with it with her guests? After a successful three day yoga session last year in Juy, this time the retreat is planned with more in depth focus and meditation in addition to the yoga practices. For Iliada running a hotel is much more than just a job, she strives puts her heart and soul into making the guests’ holidays a memorable experience. Creating the opportunity to visit the charming island of Antiparos in combination with practicing yoga, is definitely one of those.

There are a many things you can do during your free time in Antiparos. If you feel like you have had enough time relaxing by the pool we suggest you trying some of the things below:

· Visit Despotiko Island
· Walk around the picturesque village of Antiparos until you reach to Kastro

There is a variety of lunch options served at the restaurant in Kouros Village. For dinner, for those who want to join, we will gather and go to one of the local restaurants.

Rebekka is from Greece. Originally practicing yoga from 2008 and having had a daily practice for 4 years, Rebekka has a deep love and respect for yoga, finding it empowers her with strength, tranquillity and make her more conscious.
She comes from an Ashtanga background and this powerful practice has influenced the dynamic flow classes she now teaches.
She is open to and explores all styles and methods (Hatha, Vinyasa, Jivamukti, Rocket Yoga) and has travelled and meditated extensively in search of amazing teachers to help expand her experience.
Swaha studio appears dynamically in her life in 2015. Following her teachers’ advice, she did her 350hr Teacher (Hatha, Vinyasa and Gentle Yoga) 200 RYT.
A few months later she becomes one of Swaha’s teachers.
In the meantime, she continues her training by practicing yoga and attending yoga seminars in Greece and London (Triyoga, Sangye') , with exceptional teachers like: Todd Tesen, Ursula Scott, Aram Raffy, Janet McKay, Jean Hall, Cat Alip Douglas.
She now teaches Hatha,Vinyasa & Genttle Yoga.
Her goal as a teacher is to inspire each student to maintain a regular practice and experience life from a healthy, happy, peaceful place.
She likes to keep her classes fresh and challenging.
Her philosophy is that all one needs to do yoga is have a little courage and lots of fun!
Maintain the breath, maintain the flow. The rest is practice!
